Trauma Surgeon Medical Director

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is currently recruiting a board-certified Trauma Surgeon Medical Director to lead our surgicalist program in Athens, Georgia. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team of top clinicians in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to build a surgical/clinical practice and engage with the medical team at Piedmont Athens, as well as other physician leaders across the system. The surgicalist team at Piedmont Athens consists of a group of top clinicians seeking a strong leader to continue building the team and providing excellent quality of care.
Responsibilities- Lead the surgicalist program and provide clinical direction to the team
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with other medical teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Board certification in Trauma Surgery
- Minimum of three years of experience in Trauma Surgery
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
