The Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who develops and maintains trauma injury prevention and outreach programs in accordance with the American College of Surgeons Trauma Center Verification Program and state designated trauma program guidelines.
This role utilizes the trauma registry to create outreach and education programs for the community and professionals within local Piedmont Hospitals.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain trauma injury prevention and outreach programs
- Utilize the trauma registry to create outreach and education programs
- Collaborate with local hospitals and healthcare professionals
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of two years of experience in health education and/or Emergency/Critical Care of the Trauma patient
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS Required
- PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC preferred
