The Kennedy Collective Inc is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Clinical Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to individuals with significant behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to individuals with significant behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Collect and record behavior and skill acquisition data to inform treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with the BCBA to prepare and organize client materials as instructed.
- Ensure all training courses are current and complete.
- Provide professional and timely communication with co-workers, supervisor, family members and guardians and other team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Ensure the protection of the individual's rights and safety by following HIPAA regulations, ensuring privacy, and reporting any type of abuse or neglect.
- Intervene in emergencies and behavioral situations as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team using good judgment and a sense of initiative.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office and the Internet.
- At least one year prior experience working with individuals with significant behavioral needs.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Have the physical endurance to use PMT holds.
- Have the physical endurance to be able to lift and transfer individuals as assigned.
- Ability to provide personal care which may include toileting, bathing, feeding, lifting, and transferring an individual.
