Catering Sous Chef Position

Bon Appétit is seeking a skilled Catering Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items, including planning and creating menus, managing inventory, and overseeing food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of various food items.
- Assist with planning and creating menus that meet client preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Prior Sous Chef experience and catering experience required.
- Knowledge of food and industry trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Ability to set up and distribute production sheets.
- Supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills.
