Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Boqueria, a leading Spanish tapas restaurant group. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in a comparable or casual upscale restaurant environment. You will be highly proficient in cooking appliances and possess an advanced knowledge of culinary techniques. Additionally, you will have a basic understanding of financial implications, including P&L, COGs, labor, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality and guest satisfaction
  • Train, develop, and retain top-tier talent
  • Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure Back of House targets are met
  • Manage inventory levels effectively and maintain a high attention to ingredient quality
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
