Job Title: Retail Customer Service Specialist

As a Retail Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our wholesale and retail customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in identifying their needs, answering product-related inquiries, and recommending suitable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to achieving sales goals
  • Assist customers in identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers
  • Process sales transactions accurately and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse
  • Mix and tint products according to customer specifications
  • Stock shelves, set up displays, and clean store equipment
  • Load/unload delivery trucks and make deliveries as needed
  • Maintain assigned areas in a presentable condition
  • Stay knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Offer suggestions to improve sales
Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
