">We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orientation & Mobility Specialist to join our team. As an Orientation & Mobility Specialist, you will provide expert guidance and instruction to individuals who are visually impaired, empowering them to navigate their surroundings with confidence and independence.
">Responsibilities

- Provide personalized Orientation and Mobility Instruction to individuals of all ages, maximizing their safety, functionality, and independence.">
- Assess clients' needs, establish goals, and develop effective lesson plans to achieve successful outcomes.">
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete reporting in accordance with established guidelines.">
- Stay current on trends, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology in the field, ensuring you remain an expert in your area of specialization.">
- Collaborate with colleagues, customers, vendors, and outside agencies to ensure seamless communication and effective service delivery.">
Requirements
">- ">
- Masters Degree in Orientation & Mobility or equivalent degree program required.">
- ACVREP certification preferred.">
- NYS driver's license and reliable transportation, or the ability to travel effectively within the assigned geographic area, including transporting equipment.">
What We Offer
">A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
