Visually Impaired Support Professional

VIA Visually Impaired Advancement is seeking a skilled Adaptive Skills Coach to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves providing adaptive skills training and support to individuals who are blind or have low vision.
As an Adaptive Skills Coach, you will work with clients of all ages to help them achieve independence and improve their quality of life. You will conduct assessments, develop personalized plans, and provide instruction in the use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $72,000 per year, based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in rehabilitation teaching or a related field, with experience working with individuals who are blind or have low vision. A master's degree is preferred, but a bachelor's degree plus certification in low vision therapy or a related field is also acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
