The role is situated within the Treasury Finance division of the Balance Sheet FP&A and Treasury LFO organization. The Treasury Finance team is responsible for crafting financial strategies and forecasts for Citi Treasury's balance sheet and profit & loss, collaborating closely with various Treasury departments that oversee securities portfolios, interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, legal entity funding, and transfer pricing.

The team conducts thorough analyses of Treasury's actual financial performance against previous periods, forecasts, plans, and regulatory requirements. In addition to managing the balance sheet and profit & loss, the team oversees Treasury's expense budget and headcount management. This group engages extensively with the broader Finance organization as well as technology and infrastructure partners. The position reports to the Treasury Revenue Lead.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analysis for CCAR & Quarterly Multi-Year Multi-Scenario Forecasts, Annual Operating Plan, and Outlook forecasts.
  • Maintain and document forecasting tools for Treasury's balance sheet and revenues across various economic and interest rate scenarios.
  • Participate in Treasury Liquidity Account and Credit Spread reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure the integrity of data feeds from product processors to forecasting systems.
  • Track and maintain managed segment hierarchy and product setups in forecasting systems.
  • Perform trend analysis on profit & loss and balance sheet; monitor monthly actuals.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly presentations for senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related analytical field; candidates with an MS/MBA may have fewer years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; an MS/MBA is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Suite desktop software applications.
  • Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create polished presentations for senior management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with a commitment to quality and ownership of work.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a strong initiative.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is beneficial.
