Tableau Admin Job Description

RICEFW Technologies is seeking a skilled Tableau Admin to join our team. As a Tableau Admin, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Tableau Server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, upgrades, and patches of Tableau Server
  • Maintain backup and recovery procedures for Tableau Server
  • Configure and manage security settings, including SSL certificates, encryption, and authentication
  • Conduct performance tuning exercises for Tableau workbooks and data sources methods
  • Monitor Tableau Server performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize server resources to ensure smooth and efficient operation
  • Collaborate with DBAs to optimize database performance, manage data sources, and ensure Tableau connectivity
  • Work with networking teams to ensure Tableau Server connectivity, firewall configurations, and network optimizations
  • Work with security teams to implement and enforce security policies, access controls, and data protection measures
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Tableau users, resolving issues related to server connectivity, data sources, dashboards, and performance
Requirements:
  • 2 years of FTE Tableau Admin work experience
  • Tableau Admin certification a plus
  • Working knowledge in the following areas: Lunix (Redhat) server maintenance, user support, networking, database administration (DBA), security practices
