KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

  • Gather and interpret financial data to prepare journal entries for general ledger accounts.
  • Generate balance sheets, income statements, and various reports to outline the current and anticipated financial status of the company.
  • Review contracts, orders, and vouchers, and compile reports to validate individual transactions before the monthly closing process.
  • Develop, adjust, document, and oversee the execution of accounting and control procedures.
  • Analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial documents to evaluate accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Provide management with insights regarding the financial health of the organization.
  • Create account tables and allocate entries to the appropriate accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT POSITION:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accounting and demonstrate a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a commitment to building a long-term career. Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and exhibit exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. It is essential to work efficiently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a team setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • 0-5 Years of Experience in Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience in corporate accounting / General ledger
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with limited guidance
