Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a 1.0 FTE schedule. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Ambulatory Access Operations Manager to:

  • Cultivate team engagement and a culture of excellence through active coaching and mentoring for supervisors and their teams.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff, leaders, and providers to ensure success of the ambulatory access program in multiple specialties.
  • Manage projects for system-level strategic initiatives related to access and patient scheduling.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.

Preferred – Master's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.

Work Experience:

Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a leadership role.

Preferred – Supervisory experience in Access Services, Registration, Patient Accounting, or Clinic Operations

Preferred –

  • Certification in Epic Prelude and/or Cadence
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE 2, Agile, other)
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
