About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Aspire Health Partners. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of medical claims, maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct, and adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the administrative responsibilities of billing insurance to ensure client procedures are paid for by their insurance company.
- Act as a liaison between clients, insurance companies, and other staff members as needed.
- Verify insurance, handle self-pay client accounts, and accurately prepare Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, and third-party billing on a weekly basis.
- Work with claim rejections in clearinghouse to ensure all billing is captured and sent out in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining daily census and claim deletions/corrections as needed.
Requirements:
- Level II Background clearance
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with Aspire insurance company's underwriting guidelines
- 2 years' experience in Medical Billing or AA degree
