Position Title: Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in delivering personalized therapy to clients in their homes. This position allows for the enhancement of your professional skills while making a significant impact on the lives of individuals requiring speech and language support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess patients' speech and language abilities to identify challenges and determine the necessity for ongoing therapy.
2. Administer standardized assessments and engage patients in reading and vocal exercises to evaluate communication difficulties.
3. Provide instruction on sound production and voice improvement techniques.
4. Teach alternative communication strategies, including sign language, to individuals with limited verbal abilities.
5. Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers to implement therapeutic exercises effectively.
6. Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with agency policies.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- At least one year of direct patient care experience, preferably in a home health setting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
