Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Rehabilitation Services team at Franklin County Medical Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work in a supervisory role, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in our inpatient, outpatient, and home health and hospice settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Communicating with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Supervising students and volunteers
Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and program improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) approved program
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Current state licensure(s) as per state regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:
Franklin County Medical Center is a non-profit critical access hospital with a 24-hour operation. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of patients and healthcare teams. You will be required to lift and transfer patients, stand for extended periods, and navigate crowded rooms.
