Position Summary:

The Bilingual Purchasing Clerk will collaborate with the procurement team to devise effective purchasing strategies while engaging in daily operations related to supplier sourcing and product acquisition, including equipment and services.

This role will involve monitoring the receipt of purchased goods and coordinating with inventory management to ensure requisition accuracy. The aim is to guarantee that all procurement, receiving, and inventory processes are executed properly, as well as overseeing payment procedures.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in any of the following areas:

Procurement, inventory management, or receiving operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with inventory and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Mathematical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily procurement, receiving, and inventory functions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, pricing, and timelines.
  • Maintain supplier databases, purchase records, and relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with inventory control to assess and manage inventory requirements.
  • Handle procurement for manufacturing tools and machinery.
  • Ensure all procured items adhere to established quality standards and specifications.
  • Prepare cost assessments and manage budgetary constraints.
  • Work towards enhancing purchasing systems and methodologies.
  • Train new personnel on the purchasing process and system usage.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
