Overview

The Front Office Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's front desk, providing exceptional service to guests, and maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, reporting, and record-keeping, as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and services, ensuring accurate information is provided to guests.
  • Identify and address any operational issues, implementing solutions to improve service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
