We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Helper to join our team at U-Haul. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the landscaping of our facilities, as well as assisting with general maintenance and repair tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively work with a variety of hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Perform general maintenance, installation, repair, and service tasks as needed.
  • Assist skilled workers in the performance of all duties when necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record to operate commercial motor vehicles.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal vehicular regulations while driving.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals.

May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
