Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview - Vaco is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing invoices and vendor relations. This role offers flexible work-from-home options along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute a variety of administrative functions to support the accounts payable process.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices for prompt payments.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve inquiries.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of standard operating procedures within the department.
  • Provide customer service support through email and phone interactions.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, specifically in invoice and vendor management.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential.
  • A service-oriented mindset is required.
  • Experience with accounting software is necessary; familiarity with Sage Intact is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
Work Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Overtime may be required
  • Weekend work as necessary
