About the Role:
The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for the overall success of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup of meeting spaces for banquet and catering events, ensuring compliance with banquet event orders and delivering optimal service, quality, and hospitality.
- Assist in the prompt, efficient, and friendly serving of all food and beverage for banquets and restaurants, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure clients are satisfied with all aspects of their events, including room setup, F&B service, A/V functions, and food quality.
- Implement and maintain required sanitation procedures for food handling safety, obtaining and maintaining any necessary food handling certificates.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions and concerns, providing solutions and resolving issues.
- Assist in the selection, training, and development of team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Work closely with the Director of Food and Beverage to ensure the efficient running of the Food and Beverage operation, driving revenue growth and improving profitability.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to execute food and beverage events and direct staff strategically.
- Customer focus, with experience in anticipating guest needs and responding pleasantly and professionally in various settings and situations.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to pass certification tests required to meet health department and brand standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, and squat for extended periods, with a high level of physical stamina and endurance.
