Diesel Mechanic/Technician I

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicle issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- 6 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- ASE certification and 608/609 certifications preferred
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
