About the Job

Penske is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team. As a respected and experienced lead at our location, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of all levels on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision
  • Perform preventive maintenance services in a timely manner
  • Repair and troubleshoot major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Keep your work area clean and safe
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
  • Learn new skills through Penske's technician training

Qualifications
  • 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
