Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Application Analyst to join our team at CommonSpirit. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for creating and enhancing applications that meet the needs of our end-users and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to enhance application functionality
  • Design and implement solutions to meet business needs
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to application analyst teams
  • Oversee the application analysts aspects of all projects, including workload distribution, support prioritization, and productivity metric monitoring
  • Review and analyze systems, including testing and documenting Epic applications
  • Operate as a front-line organizational liaison connecting IT, facilities, and other CommonSpirit operational groups to assist with developing and implementing technical solutions to increase the efficacy of the Epic system
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 8 years of equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience working with systems analysis, programming, and design, including 4 years within the Epic platform
  • 7 years of additional relevant experience in application support, implementation, or development experience with applications in a hospital or medical-related industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations and 3rd-party application/ vendor integration
  • Epic certification for the area in which you support (Cadence/Prelude) is required
  • Cross certification or proficiency in relevant Epic modules preferred
