We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at the North Kern State Prison in Delano, CA. As a Physical Therapist I, you will play a critical role in providing physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities- Administer physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.
- Work under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility.
- Collaborate with healthcare partners and communities to enhance public safety and promote successful community reintegration through education, treatment, and active participation in rehabilitative and restorative justice programs.
- Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board.
- Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.
- Travel may be required.
The State of California offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement plan and paid time off.
Please note that this is a permanent, part-time position working 24 hours per week. The monthly salary range for this position is $3,326.40 to $4,935.00.
