Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at Wasco State Prison. As a Physical Therapist I, you will be responsible for administering physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.
  • Work under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility.
  • Collaborate with healthcare partners and communities to provide the highest level of healthcare possible to a diverse correctional population.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department, other governmental agencies, healthcare partners, and communities.
Requirements
  • Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board.

Working Conditions

Travel may be required. The monthly salary range for this position is $4, to $7,402.50.
