Overview

As a Sr. Store Sales Specialist, you'll play a key role in engaging with our audiences and providing exceptional customer experiences. You'll be the face of the Co-op, serving as a "bank of knowledge" on all products, equipment, assortments, and services.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in REI Sales and Service Training to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare the store for success by stocking, coordinating the stocking process, and handling merchandise.
  • Adjust visual presentations to reflect inventory levels, new products, and promotions.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, price accuracy, and product stock levels to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Train and mentor new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with Department Managers to achieve goals and daily expectations.
Requirements
  • Retail sales and customer service experience (preferred).
  • Open availability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to receive and act on feedback and other viewpoints in the spirit of supporting the business.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills to drive business results.
  • Ability to make solid recommendations by combining information from various sources.
  • Produce quality work by setting effective goals and establishing priorities.
  • Organize and utilize resources to meet deadlines and keep others informed about plans and progress.
  • Engage and influence others to accomplish worthwhile organizational goals.
