**About the Role**

Signal Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Member Relationship Advisor to join our team. As a Member Relationship Advisor, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional member experiences, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Member Engagement: Establish rapport and trust with members, identify their financial needs and goals, and provide personalized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Relationship Management: Manage member relationships beyond the initial new account opening, facilitate offsite presentations to existing and prospective Select Employer Groups (SEGs), and handle ongoing member service and maintenance transactions.
  • Cross-Selling Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities, making appropriate product and service recommendations to meet members' evolving needs.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure accurate completion of required paperwork and documentation, adhering to the Credit Union's policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between members and various organizations and departments, and operate teller drawer activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • A high school education or GED, with a college degree preferred.
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience, with prior experience in a financial services company or credit union preferred.
  • The ability to work alternating Saturdays with a minimum of two per month at various branches.
  • The flexibility to travel to multiple branches throughout the DC metropolitan area.
  • Excellent interpersonal engagement and presentation skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with both members and employees.
  • Strong organizational, accuracy, and detail orientation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with our core system, Fiserv, is preferred.
