Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Washington State Bar Association. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, editing, proofreading, and electronic formatting abilities.

About the Job:

The Legal Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, supporting the Intake unit by preparing and finalizing documents, organizing electronic files, and transmitting outgoing correspondence.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize documents, including letters, documents, and pleadings.
  • Organize and maintain electronic files, ensuring accurate and consistent naming conventions.
  • Transmit outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail.
  • Assist with expense reports and assemble materials for review when ODC Intake decisions are appealed.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 1 year of legal administrative experience or related field.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent relevant education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
