Job Summary

Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and quality in our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, you will act as lead for the department, managing and coordinating all departmental team members to ensure efficient and productive operations.
  • Quality Control: Routinely inspect units and common areas to ensure they meet departmental standards, and monitor guests' requests and complaints to resolve issues and coordinate efforts with other departments.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of linens and supplies, oversee the Lost and Found, and ensure proper procedures are followed for uniform exchange and laundry operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Assist with hiring, supervising, disciplining, and training of all staff under the direction of the Housekeeping Department, and assist with administrative tasks such as payroll timekeeping records, staff schedules, and vacation hours.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all departmental staff is working safely and in accordance with OSHA regulations, and investigate accidents and initiate accident reports as necessary.
  • Guest Services: Assist with guest activities as required by management, and carry out reasonable requests by management.
Requirements
  • 2 years of prior supervisory experience
  • 3 years in a related housekeeping role
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of Housekeeping equipment and chemicals, including OSHA and Blood Borne Pathogen safety standards
