About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at CHNK Behavioral Health. This part-time role will provide support to the human resources function, reporting to the HR Manager and assisting with data collection and entry, processing of new hire and benefit paperwork, ensuring correspondence of anniversaries and birthdays is completed daily, and other HR-related tasks.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in coordinating and completing initial associate paperwork with new staff.
  2. Complete and maintain associate status in HRIS system and other areas.
  3. Maintain associate benefit information including medical, dental, life, vision, retirement, and all other benefits provided by CHNK.
  4. Analyze and complete training evaluation surveys and associate surveys for presentation at Personnel Committee Meetings.
  5. Coordinate, complete, and organize all personnel background information, including TB, drug screen, and other required information.
  6. Ensure correspondence of anniversaries and birthdays is completed daily.
  7. May assist in coordinating New Employee Orientation.
  8. Filing of all associate documentation.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 2-3 years of prior experience providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and proficient at multi-tasking.
  • Detail-oriented; accuracy with sharing information.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information in a trustworthy manner.

CHNK Behavioral Health is a non-profit organization providing residential and outpatient services to those with behavioral health challenges. We have locations in downtown Covington, Kentucky, Devou Park, Burlington, Kentucky, and Grant County, Kentucky.

Benefits

This part-time role includes paid time off and access to contribute to a retirement plan with up to an 8% match after one year of employment. Other pro-rate benefits may be available.

Estimated Salary: $20 per hour.
