">The hourly range for this position is $19/hour - Commensurate, depending on relevant experience, education, and qualifications. We also offer semi-annual profit-sharing bonuses based on company profits to share in the mutual success In the past, these have ranged between 3.5% - 11.5% of annual salary.
">Job Description
">We're seeking a skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Covington, LA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day payroll processes including collecting, entering and reviewing payroll data; processing and distributing payroll on a bi-weekly basis. They will process and audit the payroll, assist with benefits activities, and manage the time and attendance application.
">Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, compute, review, edit and document payroll process transactions related to wages, deductions, and taxes for employees in compliance with company policies and government regulations.">
- Prepare full cycle payroll process including time and attendance ensuring Fair Labor Compliance.">
- Administer employee garnishments and judgments related to payroll.">
- Recommend and implement payroll process improvements to improve quality and reduce payroll errors.">
- Complete the 401(k) process to ensure information is accurate and properly recorded.">
- Prepare various bi-weekly and monthly payroll and headcount reports.">
- Assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual multi-jurisdictional, multi-state payroll tax filings including registering new withholding locations and year-end W-2 and W-3 reporting.">
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you'll need:
">- ">
- An associate or bachelor's degree (preferred).">
- A minimum of three years of hands-on payroll experience, as well as multi-jurisdictional processing.">
- Understanding of taxing authorities and government regulations.">
- Ability to perform duties in a timely manner to meet deadlines.">
- Experience with automated payroll and time & attendance systems.">
- Strong knowledge of Payroll and Payroll Taxes.">
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills, with attention to detail.">
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing task priorities and work situations.">
- Maintain confidentiality at all levels.">
- Proficiency in Excel.">
- Knowledge of UKG or Deltek Vantagepoint (a plus).">
