Design and Engineer Low Voltage Systems

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in low-voltage systems to join our team as a Designer/Engineer. This role involves designing complex systems that integrate seamlessly into various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design a wide range of low-voltage systems, including fire alarms, access control, security cameras/video surveillance, nurse call systems, and audiovisual systems.
  • Work on complete designs for engineering companies, creating spec books and detailed designs for various locations.
  • Collaborate closely with our operations team to ensure high-quality and accurate designs for installation and engineering purposes.
  • Consistently produce high-quality and accurate designs for both installation and engineering purposes.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Ideally, 8+ years in low-voltage systems, engineering, and related fields.
  • Education: An electrical engineering degree is preferred, but not required. A bachelor's degree in fire protection would be a bonus.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must have a professional engineering license (FE or PE) or a CTS-D certification. Candidates without degrees will be considered if they have relevant work experience.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong preference for candidates with 35 years of experience in low-voltage systems, including fire alarms, access control, security cameras, nurse call systems, and audiovisual systems.
