Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Specialist (Budtender) to join our team at Chalice Cannabis Dispensary. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a thorough knowledge of our products, and ensuring a positive store experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, including strains, consumption methods, and cannabis culture.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and inspiring store environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Promote a positive and customer-focused work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely data entry of customer information, utilizing our Point Of Sale (POS) system.
  • Verify proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for customers, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Ensure consistent store organization and cleanliness, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, representing the industry with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must have OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit to be considered for employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of OLCC cannabis laws and regulations.
  • Friendly and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of cannabis and its applications.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Cash handling and POS experience.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule that includes day shifts, holidays, and weekend availability. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and store excellence.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. We are committed to providing ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure our team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
