Position Summary:
As an Auditor I, you will play a crucial role in the execution of financial, compliance, and operational audits. Your responsibilities will include evaluating internal controls and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. You will conduct audits across various departments and providers, reviewing compliance with management's directives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform audits on financial, management, and administrative processes within assigned divisions to verify compliance with internal standards. This includes interviewing key personnel, conducting tests, and analyzing existing practices.
  • Compile comprehensive reports detailing audit findings, including recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Conduct specialized audit studies aimed at identifying controls to prevent fraud, and prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with fellow auditors to enhance efficiency and minimize disruptions to corporate operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, including at least 12 credit hours in accounting.
Experience:
  • No prior experience required.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Understanding of auditing principles and practices.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are advantageous.
