About the Role
CoxHealth is seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor / Senior Auditor to join our Internal Audit department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based audit engagements to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement audit plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Provide objective assurance and consulting services to management and the Board of Directors.
- Identify and report on areas of high risk and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience - Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting/Audit related field for Internal Auditor, and 5 years for Senior Auditor.
- Skills - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, organizational and time management skills, and effective communication skills.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration - Certification in Auditing, Accounting, or other related field is preferred.
