Position Summary:
As a Junior Auditor, you will play a vital role in supporting the execution of financial, compliance, and operational audits. Your responsibilities will include evaluating internal controls and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. You will review specific segments of audit programs, assess compliance, recommend corrective actions, and compile reports detailing audit outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of financial, management, and administrative processes across various divisions and departments to verify compliance with internal policies. This will involve interviewing key personnel, performing tests, assessing internal controls, and analyzing documentation to substantiate findings.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for each audit, highlighting findings and suggesting improvements to rectify deficiencies and enhance operational processes.
  • Execute special audit projects as directed by management, focusing on identifying controls to prevent fraud and preparing detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with fellow auditors to enhance audit efficiency and minimize disruptions to corporate personnel.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, including at least 12 credit hours in accounting.
Experience:
  • No prior work experience is necessary.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Understanding of auditing principles and practices.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficient in gathering information through documentation review and interviews.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage professionally with individuals at all levels.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is advantageous.
