New Arrival Case Manager

Inspiritus Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate New Arrival Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Refugee and Immigrant Services department, you will play a vital role in supporting newly arrived refugees, asylees, and Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders in their transition to a new life in the United States.
Job SummaryThe New Arrival Case Manager will provide case management and support services to newly arrived refugees, including:
- Accompanying refugees to appointments and services
- Providing translation and interpretation services as needed
- Coordinating with housing coordinators to find suitable housing for clients
- Conducting home visits and safety checks
- Assisting clients with employment referrals and cultural orientation
- Maintaining accurate records and client files
The New Arrival Case Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing direct services to clients in a professional, courteous, and caring manner
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Developing and implementing individualized service plans for clients
- Networking with community contacts to provide additional support services
- Participating in in-service training and conferences to stay up-to-date on best practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of previous direct work experience in a culturally diverse environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to organize multiple client-related activities
- Conviction about the capacity of people to grow and change
