At Sovah Health - Martinsville, we offer a competitive salary range of $42,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Patient Access Coordinator III, you will be responsible for performing receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with direct and scheduled patient admissions.

Greet patients, obtain demographic and financial information, obtain necessary signatures and collect payment from patients. Assist in all phases of the scheduling, pre-registration and registration processes. Ensure that all necessary demographic, billing and clinical information is obtained and entered into the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.

Distribute forms, documents, and educational handouts to patients and/or family members. Meet with patients and or caregivers to exchange necessary information and documentation. Provides explanation of process and address concerns and questions.

The ideal candidate will have three plus years customer service and/or healthcare experience, with a basic knowledge of CPT & ICD10 codes, as well as Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care Payers. Must be able to type 30 WPM with high degree of accuracy, and have decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision.
