Bitcoin Miner Maintenance Technician

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Level 2 Miner Maintenance Technician to join our growing Miner Maintenance Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advanced diagnostics and repairs to all miners on site, compiling reports, and collaborating with our team to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced diagnostic and repair techniques to all miners on site, including diagnosing power supply issues, control board problems, and firmware uploads.
- Compile reports of all non-hashing machines in assigned areas.
- Commission new miner installations and identify and report network outages to the Assistant Supervisor.
- Assist in keeping inventory of parts and tools using a check-out procedure and take lead on tracking inventory of all assigned buildings in accordance with compliance.
- Participate in Research & Development projects and train Tier 1 Technicians.
- Build heat maps of immersion tanks to help diagnose overheating sections and operate a scissor lift at heights up to 20 feet to install and maintain bitcoin miners.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient with Excel, Outlook, and monitoring production software.
- Knowledge of basic tool use, including multi-meter, screwdriver, test-light, box cutter, and wire cutters.
- Experience with computer troubleshooting and repair, as well as networking troubleshooting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
