About the Role

We are looking to add a Level 3 Miner Maintenance Technician to our growing Miner Maintenance Department. As a Level 3 Miner Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for advanced diagnostics and repairs to all miners on-site, compiling reports to share with management. This on-site position will directly support our Miner Maintenance operations at our Corsicana, TX facility.

Essential Functions
  • Perform advanced diagnostic and repair techniques to all miners on site.
  • Perform micro-soldering techniques on any miners needing repair.
  • Assist in keeping inventory of parts and tools using a check-out procedure.
  • Perform circuitry repairs as needed to ASIC Hash Boards.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple Research & Development projects.
  • Monitor and test experimental firmware versions.
  • Train Level 1 and 2 Technicians.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to bring attention clearly and promptly to any major errors in the Data Center that involve the Miner Maintenance Team.
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to diagnose basic machine failures.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and monitoring production software (BTC tools).
  • Ability to micro-solder.
  • Knowledge of basic tool use including multi-meter, screwdriver, test-light, box cutter, wire cutters.
  • Computer Proficient.
  • Experience with computer troubleshooting, and repair is required.
  • Experience in networking troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Schedule
  • 12 hour shift.
  • Holidays.
  • Night shift.
  • Overnight shift.
  • Weekends as needed.
