Job Summary

This position exists to provide direct resident care with a strong emphasis on geriatrics. The successful candidate will be able to utilize and interpret the resident plan of care, which includes short and long-term goals. Strong communication skills and a teamwork approach are essential to enhance resident care, safety, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accuracy and efficiency in the documentation of resident care information.
  • Demonstrate a self-start attitude geared toward flexibility and adaptation to change.
  • Demonstrate a strong and positive work ethic that promotes unit cohesiveness and morale.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and remain current on the Minnesota State Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Word and Patient Information Database (Cerner, EMR, American Data) experience.
