Geriatric Care Specialist

This position exists to provide direct resident care with a strong emphasis on geriatrics. The successful candidate will be able to utilize and interpret the resident plan of care, which includes short and long-term goals. Strong communication skills and a teamwork approach are essential to enhance resident care, safety, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Accuracy and efficiency in the documentation of resident care information.
- Demonstrate a self-start attitude geared toward flexibility and adaptation to change.
- Demonstrate a strong and positive work ethic that promotes unit cohesiveness and morale.
- Must be a graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and remain current on the Minnesota State Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Basic computer skills.
- Word and Patient Information Database (Cerner, EMR, American Data) experience.
