- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document resident responses and progress.
- Provide direct resident care, including skin treatments, catheterizations, and tube feedings, as needed.
- Document resident care and progress accurately and completely, using current standards and policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate resident care, including discharge planning and emergency response.
- Graduate of a registered nurse accredited program.
- Current active RN nursing licensure in the State of Minnesota in good standing.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Geriatric nursing experience preferred.
This position requires regular standing, bending, and walking, as well as the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds. Emergency situations may require carrying or supporting heavier objects.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in gerontological nursing, with experience working in long-term care settings. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and professionally, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to residents.
