Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Homeowner Claims Field Adjuster. This role involves obtaining and documenting essential loss information from policyholders. Under supervision, you will investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve homeowners' property claims, including those of varying complexity that typically necessitate physical inspections.

As the primary adjuster for all claims assigned at the Field Examiner level, you will be expected to advance to the competency level of a Level 5 Homeowner Adjuster. You may also be tasked with assigning, coordinating, and overseeing independent adjuster assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and assess all aspects of property loss claims of moderate to high severity, both in-person and virtually.
- Engage with policyholders or third parties to photograph and inspect damaged properties.
- Determine the scope of repairs and prepare repair estimates using the Xactimate estimating system.
- Reach an agreed cost of repair with the policyholder and possibly their contractor.
- Oversee the repair process until completion.
- Collaborate with experts to ensure thorough investigation and identification of the cause of loss.
- Settle and disburse payments for dwelling or other structure damages upon completion of coverage analysis.
- Manage all correspondence to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Actively contribute to shaping our company culture through participation in employee resource groups and community service.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience preferred.
- Minimum of four years of claims experience, with a focus on homeowner claims preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in basic math and computer skills, with typing speed of at least 30 wpm.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Familiarity with handling multiple homeowner state policies and understanding fair claims settlement practices and building codes preferred.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in the Xactimate repair estimating system.
- Prior experience conducting field inspections.
- Understanding of home construction principles.
- Demonstrated respect for diversity through effective communication with individuals from various backgrounds.
