EDI Account Executive

Crisp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced EDI Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our EDI Business Line, you will be responsible for selling our EDI portal and integration services to new prospects, building relationships with customers and partners, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell Crisp's EDI portal and integration services to new prospects
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs
  • Build relationships with customers, reseller partners, trading partners, software vendors, and other potential partners
  • Prepare sales targets and expense budgets bi-annually as required and work to meet or exceed those sales targets each quarter
  • Create and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Action any sales inquiries forwarded by our internal teams, via referrals, and inbound inquiries from our website or other marketing channels
  • Work with the marketing team to increase inbound sales opportunities
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to promote our products and services
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and of our business line's capabilities, and ensure relevant sales strategies to align sales with successful project completion
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of EDI in the retail supply chain, EDI compliance requirements imposed by retailers, and understanding of the client user experience when working with those transactions and how those integrate with their third-party software solutions or 3PL providers
  • Ability to learn and use all software and sales tools prescribed by the Crisp Sales Team
  • Participation in sales training programs
  • Record all opportunities and sales in our CRM
  • Prepare and analyze data to build a sales pipeline
  • Maintain excellent service by imposing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving problems, and recommending solutions to prospective clients
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues
  • Providing product demos to potential customers
  • Collaboration with the Customer Success Teams on activities post-sale as needed
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Contribution to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Effective communication with clients via phone, email, and video conferencing
