About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Informatics Specialist to join our team at Children's Mercy Kansas City. As a key member of our Health Informatics & Technology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient use of health information technology across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to various locations to train providers on the use of the EMR and other healthcare-related software.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, implement, and evaluate Health Informatics systems.
  • Provide comprehensive management and development of information systems education and training programs.
  • Coordinate end-user involvement in the integration of clinical work and information systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in a systems analyst role and/or as an informatics specialist in a clinical area.
  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Professional Billing Principal Trainer preferred.
  • Registration/licensure in a respective discipline (i.e. Nursing) preferred.
