Job Summary

As a Medical Emergency Response Specialist, you will provide friendly, premier customer service and first aid to all patrons attending our events. You will also provide first aid to all medical emergencies, activate the local 9-1-1 system when necessary, and maintain proper stocking of medical supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid to all medical emergencies, including injuries and illnesses, while upholding state, local and company medical protocols.
  • Activate the local 9-1-1 system on patrons requiring ALS transport to an area hospital.
  • Provide proper and accurate written patient care reports (PCR).
  • Maintain proper stocking of medical supplies and equipment in our First Aid Rooms and portable EMS bags.
  • Be a positive ambassador to our venues with legal ADA knowledge and handling.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be certified as a current EMT or Paramedic issued by the Kansas and/or Missouri Board of Emergency Medical Services.
  • Must be certified as a current EMT or Paramedic issued by the National Registry.
  • Must possess and maintain a current American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Providers certification, and ACLS if certified as a Paramedic.
  • Must have good means of transportation.
  • Must be available to work at least 5 events per month.
  • Must show good communication skills and professionalism.
