Customer Service Retail Specialist

The Customer Service Retail Specialist provides exceptional support to all retail patrons by managing, preparing, and processing packages for courier delivery while utilizing various office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, binding tools, laminators, and point-of-sale systems. This role involves expertly guiding our esteemed customers by delivering precise information regarding our diverse range of products, services, and optimal value options, demonstrating confidence through a solid understanding of industry best practices.

The ideal candidate possesses prior experience in retail sales, proficient computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful attitude, and a professional appearance. A quick learner who strives to grasp all facets of the business in the shortest time possible is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides outstanding customer service to walk-in clients and handles telephone inquiries
  • Practices attentive listening skills with customers, team members, and management
  • Takes responsibility for addressing the customer's shipping requirements and proposes effective solutions
  • Actively learns about all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry developments
  • Operates all equipment, software, and devices proficiently and is willing to instruct others
  • Maintains a tidy, organized, and safe workspace
  • Performs additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory
  • Experience in retail or customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to cross-sell and up-sell products and services
  • Excellent packing abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Exceptional phone communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and mathematics
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual
  • Able to lift over 40 pounds
