About the Role

The Treasury Portfolio Manager is a key position within our Commercial Banking team at INSBANK, responsible for managing the day-to-day commercial deposit relationships of key business clients. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and in-depth knowledge of Commercial Banking and Treasury Management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day commercial deposit relationships of key business clients, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Perform client calls and support the sales/service efforts of the Treasury Management department, fostering strong relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with the Treasury Product Analyst on product setups and servicing needs, ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing support.
  • Assist with customer retention efforts by providing a superior level of customer service, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Participate in other sales-related initiatives, cross-sell identification, internal and external product training, and support for risk/compliance-related initiatives.
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesTreasury Management Onboarding
  • Serve as the Treasury Management point person responsible for client onboarding and implementation of treasury management services, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Coordinate inter-departmental communication on all internal product setups, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
Portfolio Management - Enhance Client Experience
  • Maintain high product knowledge, particularly with regard to commercial deposit accounts and treasury management suite of products, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Manage assigned treasury and deposit portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and growth.
  • Individually and partner with Relationship Managers/Treasury to perform sales calls, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Assist with preparing and analyzing relationship reviews for existing clients, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities, anticipate future needs, and areas of improvement for overall relationships, driving business growth and expansion.
Client Service
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service, resolving day-to-day service issues and identifying potential broader service interruptions.
  • Perform account maintenance, research, and escalate issues as necessary, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Collaborate with Treasury team to resolve treasury-related issues, ensuring seamless support and service delivery.
Other Key Job Functions
  • Adhere to all bank and department personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Support technology modernization and product development, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Promptly escalate and provide support on critical client needs, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Adept and adjust to change and its processes, ensuring seamless adaptation and implementation.
  • Perform other reasonably related job responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of Commercial Banking and Treasury Management solutions, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Superior customer service skills, with a focus on timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proper and efficient use of email and other communication channels.
  • Ability to maintain strictest level of confidentiality, ensuring secure and confidential handling of client information.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Products, with a focus on efficient and effective use.
  • Set priorities, plan workloads, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives through the efficient use of time and resources.
