About the Role

JH Kelly is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is a dynamic and growing role that requires a well-rounded individual with the ability to perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at customer facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floors: Install, repair, and maintain quarry tile, VCT, and vinyl flooring.
  • Ceiling Grid/Tile: Install, repair, and maintain ceiling grid and tile systems.
  • Interior and Exterior Painting: Paint interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and facilities.
  • Drywall Install/Repairs: Install and repair drywall in buildings and facilities.
  • Graffiti Removal: Remove graffiti from buildings and facilities.
  • Chain Link Fencing Installation/Repairs: Install and repair chain link fencing.
  • Security Fencing: Install and repair security fencing.
  • Roof Leaks: Repair roof leaks and ensure water-tightness.
  • Snow Removal: Remove snow from buildings and facilities.
  • Doors and Locks: Install, repair, and maintain doors and locks.
  • Small Welding Repairs: Perform small welding repairs.
  • Parking Lot Curb Repairs: Repair parking lot curbs.
  • Parking Lot Striping: Stripe parking lots.
  • Stainless Steel Kitchen Work: Perform stainless steel kitchen work.
  • Small Door Repairs and Replacements: Repair and replace small doors.
  • Carpentry: Perform carpentry work.
  • Exterior Maintenance: Perform exterior maintenance tasks.
  • Pressure Washing: Pressure wash buildings and facilities.
  • Additional Services: Perform other related duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Must be willing to become part of the carpenters union or show that you are in good standing with the Columbia River Carpenters Union, UBC local 1503.
  • Skills: Proven ability to quickly build relationships with customers, demonstrated excellence in customer service, organization, and communication skills, sense of urgency in work operations, time management/prioritization, customer focus, planning and organizing, innovation, functional acumen, adapting to change, interpersonal communication, continuous improvement, teamwork and collaboration, and driving for results.
