Job Overview

Ashton Gardens, a leading independent living community dedicated to active seniors, is in search of a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician. This role operates primarily during weekdays, with the possibility of evening or weekend hours as necessary.

Position Responsibilities:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the community, which includes the maintenance of both the interior and exterior of the building, as well as the grounds, pathways, driveways, and parking areas. This vital team member will engage in routine preventative maintenance tasks as well as respond to urgent repair needs. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of relevant maintenance experience in various fields such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, HVAC systems, painting, and wall repairs. A genuine passion for working with seniors is essential.
